Best ignition??
I find myself posting in here alot as engine performance is my weak spot. Ask me any day how to rebuild diffs and 4 wheel discs and its a piece of ****.
Anyways I've been looking into my ignition system for my 428 build and I'm looking for some pointers. Currently I have a stock small 390 distributor that has been converted to crane cam fireball electronic ignition with rev limiter. I saw a upgrade on here tonite that showed how to install a large cap with spacer from a newer distributor to allow for bigger plug wires and not allow crossfire? I was also looking into the petronix III with multi spark and higher output.
So could I get better performance out of some new upgrades that will be worth while??? I also had a MSD blaster coil and it failed on me and also had the msd 6a box with the current ignition and itt failed too so I really just want a sure thing!
