They're cleaning up pretty good so far, but some of it is pretty stubborn. Using Greased Lightning and a small wire brush - about toothbrush sized. Anybody know of anything better?

Also - my aluminum intake is really nasty - not just greasy, but major discoloration from gas leaks, etc. Any great tricks for restoring that to it's original luster while I have it off?
