Road Side Help Network...
Is anyone else having trouble logging min to the RHN?
I'm heading to Daytona for the remainder of bike week,and was gonna print off some member info from the RHN to take with me,but can't log on.Thoughts?.....

I know right,i put a shortcut on the desktop to "that" page,but once you hit to go to the home page,you can't navigate away to the members info area.

There is a problem between the RHN and IE 8 so if you are running IE8 as your browser the links wont show up on the home page. I do not know if this is our issue or Microsofts still trying to get it sorted out.

10-4 Jim,i'm running ie8,but it worked before,anyway,i knew there was an issue,thanks buddy...On edit.we were running ie7 on Aprils pc before,we haven't tried RHN since updating to ie8.

I use firefox for similar reasons personally, but as a corporation we don't use IE 8 yet due to a myriad of issues with sites. Most of it is due to the "hardening" attempts by microshaft to stop all the viruses etc, but the default security settings are so tight it renders it useless. if you lower the security settings and allow linking, it "may" work, but its much easier to just switch browsers, as well as much more secure, as the majority of hackers target microshaft as they have the largest share of easy targets.
