Oil Temp Gauge?

I like isspro gauges. As far as I know just about the only way to get the temp is from the filter cap. You have to buy a billit cap with the port on top for the sender. You could also get it from the test port on the front. But that would require some addapter and alot more work.

I have Isspro gauges too and they work great. I drilled a hole in my oil pan for the sensor. After drilling the hole I changed the oil and put a small magnet into the oil pan to get any metal pieces out. I sealed around the sensor with J B Weld. It has not leaked in four years. I also did this with my other truck. I have found the oil temp gauge gives more information on the engine than my Isspro water temp gauge. To me a must for towing.
