1993 E150 Emissions Failure
---------------40KPM Test------------Idle Test

HC ppm----71-------141----FAIL-----200------86----PASS

NO ppm---1102------278----PASS----n/a-------n/a
Need help so that I can hopefully send the minimum amount possible to it. Have done the following within the last six months:
- Spark plugs/wires in Sept.
- New water pump/thermostat in Sept
- Oil change this morning before test
- PCV valve as well
- Lucas injector cleaner on last tank of gas ran till nearly empty
- Filled 1/2 way with 91 Octane w/up to 10% ethanol
Also, has an undiagnosed "miss" on initial light footed acceleration from a stop.... only when accelerator is slightly depressed.

Possible causes:
-- Vacuum hoses leaking, blocked or kinked.
-- AIRB/AIRD valve, AIR pump inoperative.
-- AIRB/AIRD solenoid(s) damaged, blocked.
KOEO DTC 327 indicates that the EGR Valve Position (EVP) sensor signal is less than the Self-Test minimum value of 0.2 volt.
NOTE:
Because the EVP sensor is preloaded when attached to the EGR valve, a failure in the EGR valve causing the EVP sensor to lose preload may also set DTC 327.
Possible causes:
-- Damaged EVP sensor.
-- Damaged EGR valve.
-- Open harness.
-- Grounded harness.
-- Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
KOEO DTC 332 No shut code.
But Continuous Memory DTC 332 indicates that the EGR valve did not open with the engine stabilized and with EVR solenoid duty cycle present sometime during vehicle operation.
Possible cause:
-- Obstructed or cracked hose to EGR valve.
-- Damaged EGR valve.
-- Damaged EVR solenoid harness.
Your CO is good, which means the cat is working.
Your NO is good, real good, which means your EGR is working.
HC is unburned fuel. So a miss will add to to it, or a lazy or partially blocked air injection, as per the prior post.
That's my WAG.
Good luck with it.
