Axle Code D9?

If they have stayed with the same scheme of numbering the D= limited slip, 9=3.55 ratio. But I too cannot find a specific listing for D9.
Try the VIN decoder from Ford.........................https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenan...ls/default.asp
Oops! just ran mine trough and doesn't show axle info. I do know that the 9 is 3.55, D is LS. You can find axle code charts that show this but don't have a specific D9 listed.
Are you getting this from the door sticker? If so try reading off of the pumpkin.

i had mine serviced at the stealership and they told me i had 4.10's and i believed them. so this thread got me to looking into it and come to find out i have non-limited slip 3.73's! go figure i would have tried to pull a very large load and broke something and then i would be really angry!
