Need help viewing FTE forums after computer crashed
I had to crash my computer because of a virus, now when a try to view FTE forums, I only see text, no avatars, no online/offline green dot, and boxes with red x in them, etc.
I reinstalled, Windows XP, Adobe reader and Java without any luck.
Does anyone know what I may need to install to view FTE.

You've probably still got a virus. Have you run Norton or any other antivirus program?
There have been threads on here suggesting virus removal tools. If you can't see much, maybe you could go to your local library and use their computer to log on to fte (most libraries have public computers these days). Then you could search on virus removal and similar topics.
Otherwise, you might want to find a professional to check it out.

Glad to see you got the problem fixed. IE is one way to get another virus. Try Firefox out. Also get AVG or Avast for free virus protection.
