Installing new compressor
I will be installing a New compressor in my truck and looking for info on how to recharge the 134a. I know I need to put a vacuum on it but what are the values to look for. I will be buying a set of gauges and know where I should connect them but just need some help as far as procedures.

This all depends on were you are, I am in Denver and it is not possable to pull the vacuum one can pull on sea level. You need a special vacuum to do this, you basicly pull the vacuum and hold it for 15 min. You should also replace the receiver/drier or accumulator which ever you have any time the system is open. This is the last thing you do though. Hope this helps.
