I have a 1995 Ranger with a 4cyl and 5peed that has a check engine light I can't seem to ger read. I have an OB II port in the cab, but three auto parts stores and a friend can't read it. I checked all the fuzes, no problem there. Before I go to the dealer looking for some suggestions. It runs fine also. Thanks in advance for any help
I do have an OB-II connector in the cab by the parking brake and there is no connector under the hood. I had seen some discussion a year or two ago discussing how they cut in OB-II in "95", but there was problems reading the codes. I was looking to see if anyone else had run into this and how they overcame it. Thanks much
Been all over the area around the power booster and no connector. Also looked at the connector under the hood and there is wiring going to that connector. I took some pictures of the brake booster area, but I'm not sure I can post them. Again, thanks for the help andf advice
