Can I ask what you are looking for out of this? What are you plans with the vehicle?
Not trying to knock you in any fashion, just enjoy asking why the mod is happening so I can figure out whether I need to add it to my list of 5 billions things I want.
I do really want to know how different the truck feels after this.
I have this kit as well. Nice job with the pics. The truck doesn't feel any different than it does with stock parts, but these will take much more abuse. The stock set-up does not give you the option of replacing the bearings without the hub assy. This is a throwback to an older design with replaceable bearings and races. Much cheaper to service over the long run. Also, on the stock hub, the bearings are a much narrower size and stacked directly next to each other at the rear or axle side of the hub. This kit uses a wider roller bearing and places one at the inside of the hub, and one at the outside. This puts the workload between the bearings with much less stress on them. Think of it as this. Hold a heavy object in your hand out at arms length... now support your fist on the edge of the table and hang that same item at your elbow. It will be much easier on your arm with the weight distributed between centers than out at one end. That workload gets multiplied with things like lifts, oversize tires, offset wheels or added payloads such as snow plows ect. I have no regrets after putting this in my truck. In fact I will be putting a set in our Excursion this spring as well. We have a bad hub, but I'm gonna limp it through the cold season and do it when I don't need gloves on. The one thing that concerned me was the spacers for the brake calipers. In order to line up with the rotors I had to use them. Made me nervous. After several thousand miles though I have had no issues. Worth the $ to me.
My project was stopped due to a frozen caliper pin
I heat, beat, twisted and swore at that thing ,alas its stuck. Other than that it went pretty good. Hoping I can buy just the bracket from ED.

Keep me posted Ed. I'll be in for another kit. I got my last kit right from Dynatrac. They pricematched the best dealer price, but had better knowledge and service. Couldn't find a "good" dealer with a decent price. That should all change soon I guess eh?
