Crank pulley Removal
I have an 81 F100 that has a 300 six and i am rebuilding it. I need to find out how to get the crankshaft pulley off so that i can acess the timing gears. The repair manuel that i have says to put the truck in gear to hold the crank in place, but that isnt working, the motor still turns a little and the bolt isnt comming loose. Has anyone out there had this problem in this type truck before? and if so, how did you fix it?
