stupid question im sure
i just got given a 94 idi turbo and im looking for where the glow plug relay is im guessing its got to b close to the dash ??? as im going to replace it and the glow plugs as it dont like to start wait to start stays on only about a sec

Stupid questions are the ones not asked. I have repaired many vehicles that probably cost double because they tried to do something without information.
I am not positive on the location on your 94 but do know that if a few of the plugs are bad it will cause the controller to short cycle to the point of no cycle. If you check out the sticky at the top of the page there will be pictures and info on how to check out your system.

slayer3103 welcome to FTE and the idi forum.
i would guess your relay is fine but you probably have a few dead glowplugs.always replace with beru/motorcraft zd9 plugs,most other plugs have a tendency to swell and sometimes you have to pull the heads to get them out.the glowplug relay is in front of the turbo and towards the pass side a little
