Is that the Long Beach Ford plant @1:30, and the Van Nuys Chevrolet plant right afterward?

1928/29 Ford Model AA one ton flatbed truck with a 1941 Ford truck rusting away behind it.
It's already a rat, so toss a rod inside. VOILA! You now have a ratrod.
I wonder what make/year the "C" cab is it next to it?
Cigar chomping Berna Eli "Barney" Oldfield drove with the pedal to the metal and to hell with the brakes.
Wouldn't be caught dead driving a Model AA that had a top speed of no more than 40 MPH, but only w/a friendly tailwind pushing it along!
Steve, that's the former Long Beach Ford Assembly Plant. Ford moved out of it in 1960 because not only had it become too small, but was built on pilings over the ocean...that were sinking.
The plant is still there today (located on Henry Ford Avenue), so it musta stopped sinking into the ocean.
Chebbie plant located on Van Nuys Blvd (also assembled Pontiac Firebirds). The plant has been closed for quite awhile, I haven't been in the area recently, so I dunno if its still there or not.
