Get some saddle soap and mink oil and put some elbow grease into them. All that stuff in spray bottles is junk.

If after cleaning there are still some stains that won't come out you can use a color match dye. When I bought my truck the back seat had some stains and marks that wouldn't come out with cleaning. I used SEM Classic Coat aerosol dye on them and and it looks 100% better. Just something to consider.

Yes there are some mounting spots. You will have to drill them out in the floor though. The seat belts slip through the seat and they are mounted behind the seat, so you don't have to worry about that.

Those Mr. Clean magic sponges deals work the best. Since that leather is sealed you can use those sponges. That is what was recommended to me and it worked fast. If it were aniline leather (unsealed), then that wouldn't be a good idea. Saddle soap works as well, but since the pores are sealed, it won't work as good as it would on aniline.

I didn't even think about those Mr. Clean erasers. I don't know though... I bought my brother a Limited interior for his '98 Jeep ZJ Laredo for $100. The seats were hideously filthy. I mean, the seats the OP pictured are clean compared to what my brother's seats looked like. He used saddle soap to clean them and mink oil to condition them. They looked mint after he was done.

My seats had some sort of marks that wouldn't come off and those erasers did the job, but the saddle soap did a good job on the dirt that had ground into the leather. Plus, if you use the mink oil, it smells good, haha (at least I think it does)

I use Lexol cleaner followed by Lexol conditioner. Recommended by a custom car interior shop. Seems to work as well as anything I have found.

I will pick up a Lexol tomorrow and some saddle soap I think I got some of those MR clean things around here somewhere. I wonder if this stuff actually soaked through down to the foam.

Ya know, the last three pix look pretty good. So does that mean my seats are pretty bad? Saddle Soap and Mink Oil are what I've always been told is the best to clean and condition leather.

I've always been told Lexol is a very gentle cleaner and conditioner.

It may well be. My info is from the 50's and I don't adapt to new science very well.

First three it's easy to see the problem. As I said, last three looks like a super improvement. Leather is a rough one. Clean leather too much and the dye goes making it look worse then before. Love the idea of a back seat with fold downs for luggage (which wrecks the leather when you load stuff back there). Good luck!

Sorry if I sounded rude lol I was making a short one handed post. When you look at it in person it is clearly visible but you can hardly see it in the pictures. The small seat that folds up is the worst but I will have updated pictures later today.

You didn't! Again, good luck with the seats. I really am anxious to hear if you can salvage them without re-dyeing the leather. I love leather, but I am never sure if it's the best material for seats. I have the same brown leather in my '02. It gets scratched up in the back from sliding things in and out on it, and the front is looking more and more like old leather from constant use. I figure if I keep cleaning and conditioning it it will last, but I will never look like it did new.
