Muffler upgrade
What do you think about replacing the stock muffler with a glasspac, but not replacing the rest of the exhaust system? Much less expensive, and some have told me the results are fairly equal. Any thoughts?

Welcome to FTE. Just make sure your state doesn't have restrictions on an open pipe, hence inspections and required having a muffler. Most shops ignore it but just check to save yourself the hassles. I had a Glasspack welded into my stock exhaust before my duals and it was nice, sounded real good. Straight pipe would be cheaper.

I got a straight thru glass pack and it doesn't sound much different the factory one.. Or just delete it.. It would not be that much louder.. Diesels are not like gasser it seems..they are alot quieter..
