Two post lift position?

Two post lift position?
I just got my garage built and before I put in my two post lift, I would like to have some idea where I'm going to place it before I install it. It is a Mohawk A-1 System. Should I center the Ex on the lift or slide the vehicle toward the rear to account for the engine weight?

I don't have the Mohawk - but on my 2 post the columns are right at the middle to rear of the front doors. Not sure which engine you have - but I've had both diesels and V10s on the lift and the lift point is about the same.
