What's the dash hook for?
What is that dash hook used for? I can't find anything to use it for and I am about to delete it.

Guess it's all ford could come up with to cover a hole where an ash tray was that didn't work either.Another one of their better (or failed) ideas

i think it's an ash tray. my girlfriends truck (00 F250) deal actually comes out from the top, and looks as if the bottom has hindges or something ( i dunno if her's is broke or something) but mine won't move at all. i was star'n at it the other day and was concidering doing a delete to it, and possibly fitting a CB mount there. what do yall think ?

mounted a cb in mine...With a little dremel trimming, you can fit a small cb in there easily.

that hook is useless.. i remember a few years back when gas stations would give out lil garbage bags.....

I told my wife that once... she laughed then punched me in the arm... then again, she is used to those kinds of comments from me.
