2003 V-10 Problems?
The truck runs fine when cold and just started. After the truck gets hot and works under a load for awhile, after plowing snow, it will not gain any power. It ideals fine but as soon as you try to give it any power, even in neutral, it just falls on its face spudders and pops. If you shut the truck off for even just a few minutes it will run fine again for awhile.
We have replace most of the fuel system, pump, rails, not sure what else. Does anyone have any ideas?
Clean the MAF. If they have a diagnostics setup, check MAF function and make sure it's actually reading correctly.
Based on just the minimal problem description here, I'd have also been thinking about a faulty electronic sensor that was sending errant signals when it got hot. Like the TPS or a coolant temp sensor....
But to summarize, not a "common" issue with a known common cause. It will take a scientific approach to determine your root cause.
And unfortunately, some dealers do NOT invest in skilled/knowledgable/intelligent technicians. You may need a better doctor.
