Well after spending all afternoon and knocking about 7 off the MSRP(something that I thought was pretty good), I drove him this evening with a brand new 2010 Platinum F-150.
Don't worry I still have my 6.0, I didn't feel to bad with going to the 150 since I was keeping the 6.0 and I can use that for hauling. I just wanted something new for more of the day to day get around and hauling the light stuff.
I'll try to post pics tomorrow. By the time that I got done with everything it was pitch black out.
I guess I'll be hanging around the F-150 forums now too.
congrats tex. so dose this mean that you are not going to get a new superduty now?
Yep. 'Fraid I'm going to go with a new half ton this time around. The only one that would be sufficient for my situition would be a diesel and while they look good, I just couldn't swing it. Then I found out the v10 would only be in the bigger trucks so that didn't work. Then the 6.2 was told to me by a reliable source that if it was sufficient for my hauling needs, it would just be barely.
However, if I approached it as just a light hauling(stuff in the bed type of hauling, I don't own any bumper pull trailers) and DD type of stuff I could justify it and it would make the big girl last that much longer.
Although, I'm leaving this one totally stock. I did have them throw in a TBC, liner and hard top lockable bed cover in the deal too, but that's the only thing that's going on there extra.

Now if I can just remember not to go to the green pump when I'm in the thing.
So far I'm liking it as just a getting around vehicle. The 5.4 does a whole lot better job in the F-150 then it did in the F-250 that I drove for 2 weeks.
