bagging a MII is no different than bagging anything else really. You need to come hang with us this spring or summer. We can walk you through it plus we are local!
My 55 will be bagged this spring! but not with a MII.... Dont bother with Ax, he'd just want to autocross it anyway

i was hoping you guys would post. i was going to buy after market upper and lower arms. then heidits said there wasnt enough clearance between stock spring and frame. as air bag is wider. did you have a clearance problem. it looks like i have an inch between spring and frame.

Are you asking about an stock MII crossmember or an aftermarket crossmember?

I have a Fatman's crossmember with shockwaves front with no issues.

I bought my Mii crossmember from Full Tilt streetrods. I went back to them and bought there upper and lower control arms for airbags. I told him what bags i had and they supplied what i needed. I do not see any clearance issues for me. Look in my link and look at the pics of the front end. Hope that helps!!!! I still have not finished the front shock mounts are the rear ones either. I just got the motor and trans in the frame last weekend. I pulled both so i can finish weld everything and paint the frame.

I dont know this for sure since I dont have a MII, but it seems to me that I read on here once that these MII aftermarket companies all make the spread between the ends different widths. So you *have* to buy thier arms. Best thing to do is listen to Roger, give these full tilt guys a call and tell em the situation and who makes the crossmemeber, Id be willing to bet that if they dont have a set of arms that will fit right now that theyd make a set for you that will match the width, not to mention the length so you can have you room for the bags.

Worse comes to worse, we have a guy here in Des Moines that should be able to make you a set to your liking.

well i emailed both of them the only thing that worries me is. i bought my 4-bar rear from full tilt and none of the bolt were long enough to work. if that happened again i would blow a gasket.
