having some other problems now. i thought it was just because i don't have a bed and no weight on the back end that it was just spinning on the ice and snow, but i don't think the transmission is engaging. i put it into reverse and try to back up and the tires don't spin or anything, and then i put it into 2nd and try to go forward, and same thing. it was fine a couple weeks ago, maybe someone could let me know what might be the problem, thanks so much.
it's a 4 speed. my friend was looking while i put it in reverse and 2nd, and the driveshaft isn't turning when i let out on the clutch, i'm thinking it's a linkage or something, but someone else said it's the driveshaft, so not really sure.

wow. i feel really stupid. i was trying the 4 wheel drive out on it yesterday. which the right front hub won't lock out, (something else to be fixed). well i left the t-case in neutral thinking when not using 4WD that you leave it in neutral so that answers my problem. i don't know what i would have done otherwise so thanks to everyone who responded. so till my next dumb question have fun with your trucks!!
