Confusing Part Number

Hello all,

I'm looking at a 6.0 intercooler that an individual has for sale. He says it's brand new in the box and the part number is c3z 6k775 A. I checked with other threads on here but the two i've found are 5C34 6k775 AA|N1WLB|5C17A and the other one is 4C346k775. Does someone have a way of checking if the (c3z 6k775 A) part number is for a 6.0 intercooler? I know ford kept changing those numbers. Also, the owner said the inlet/outlet openings did not appear to be offset like most 6.0 intercoolers which lead me to believe it's not for a 6.0L. Any advise or help would be much appreciated. Thanks

-Clay

Clay - Do you have pics of the IC?? We can go out to the shop tomorrow and take measurements.. the easiest way to tell is how thick the IC is.. the 6.0 is a ton thicker..

If you got a link send it to me on FB and I can take a look real quick.

Edit: You might wanna e-mail Ed and see if he can cross reference the part number.

Found this.. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...-c-oem-pn.html

I sent a message to Ed. I'm going to call the guy today and have him take some measurements. Then i'll be able to compare. He didn't have a picture and I asked for one but it was never sent. I'll let ya know when I find out. The 6k775 matches but the inital few digits don't. Makes me wonder what the difference is.
