Hey, check this one out:
My wipers worked when i parked the truck ('77) back in august. the heater didn't. i drove the truck last month, and the wipers only work when the key is on but the engine's not running. after i fixed the heater, it does the same thing. what in the world is going on here?
somebody said it was a short--where should i look? IS it a short?
so confused.....

you know, the ignition IS kind of finicky....if that's it, I'll be one happy mudder trucker. i'm going home friday, so we'll see. I automatically thought short or chewed wire (mice) or something big. Thanks a lot!
