GO CANADA
Hey Morris, didn't they used to say the leader in the Olympics was the country that had the most gold metals? Now they do a total medal count.
It has sure been an interesting weekend at the Olympics.
I have a feeling that the closing ceremonies will be quite the display!
I really like the clips put together showing all our accomplishments in the Olympics and the whole experience.
There is a journalist with the Globe and Mail called Stephen Brunt and I will spend some time to see if his work will be available as a link someplace. He started with the entire scenario, the BC weather and the adversity and challenges it posed for the people diong the work, the bad start with the sudden and unfortunate death of a young athlete, and then blending into the rest of the experience. I really enjoyed it!!!
i just don't think it would be fair to have the us beat canada on their home turf.
i'm more of a race fan then hockey. but come on guys. you guys deserve atleast one.
i still think they should have stock car racing as a venue. street stock with slicks on dirt.
now that would be a challendge. on a sloppy track. for 500 miles. now that would be enteraining. in cars from 50's and 60's.
