Duel steering stabilizer

Have been looking to get a kit for my truck 93 f150. All the setups I've seen in person seem to be very cheaply made. Held on by overly large u bolt clamps and cheap looking brackets. What are you guys thoughts on a very quilty built setup ? Anyone have a setup that you are very happy with?

I got 1 from a guy on ebay, it was a rough country dual steering stablizer kit, this 1 was very nice and fit well. TopGuns Customs on ebay had the best prices, call em up you get it cheaper. Here are some pics of the dual kits I got.

There is really no cons to this, just helps control bigger tires, keeps kickback on bumps and stuff way down. I have more pics if you want.

I have a single Rancho stabilizer on my truck. It has similar brackets to the Skyjacker pictured above. It works well. I'll see if I have some pictures. If not I'll take some.

TexasGuy, is your single stabilizer of the kind that has one bracket on the bottom of the engine crossmember, and the damper unit itself sits more towards the driver side of the truck? This is probably the best setup I've seen on a TTB front end, and it can work for 2wd trucks too. Then there is the factory damper for an F350 2wd cab-chassis truck, those would work pretty decent for a 4x4 halfton as well, but good luck finding the bracket that attaches i to the passenger-side frame rail. In any case, you really want the damper elements to be as parallel to the steering linkage as possible, which these dual-damper kits are not, they actually look rather scary to me...

95F350, since you have a monobeam front axle there is a better way of attaching the dual dampers - you oppose them to each other, with their inboard ends attached to the steering linkage, and their outboard ends attached to brackets welded to the axle tubes - this may require some fabbing and welding tho, dunno how good your resources are for that.

Here is my single stabilizer. It doesn't really seem cheaply made to me. The brackets are actually rather strong. Its been on the truck for 10 years. I did change the rubber bushings to poly ones a few years ago.

It does attatch to the bottom of the engine crossmember, but it goes more to the passenger side and attatches to the tie rod.

TexasGuy, that's the good setup I was talking about - and yes, it's pretty darn well designed, it's those cheap kits with the foot-long bracket hanging from the passenger-side frame rail that I do not like one bit. And it's installed correctly on your truck, I just forgot that's how they actually sit, and was thinking of the way I was planning on installing one on my truck - I already have the cab-chassis setup over the passenger-side steering linkage and I wanted to have another damper working on the driver-side linkage to take the stress off the middle joint, not possible anymore cause of my skid rails getting in the way, oh well.
