rear main seal replacement
I am getting ready to replace the rear main seal (91 f150 302 auto 2x4) and was looking for suggestions on the easiest way to do it. I already planned on dropping the tranny to get to it. Is it necessary to drain the tranny first or can I just lower it level? How much tranny fluid will drain out when I disconnect the lines that run to the fluid cooler?
Any and all suggestions on making this job easier are appreciated. I scanned the previous posts but could find none that went into any detail.

rear main seal replacement
A little tip on the tranny lines. If you have some extra fittings put them in and connect a hose between the too, or get some latex gloves and shove some in the hole but not too much so you can't pull it back out.
