Back-up Light Switch
The previous owner of my 77 F100 (three on the tree - 300 straight switch) had a tendency to unplug or disconnect anything that annoyed him: seat belt warning light, dome light, back-up switch (which I also think is related to the neutral safety switch and why he disconnected it). Can anyone tell me where this is mounted. I just realized today that the lights are not coming on 
after a year of ownership! Yeah I know!

after a year of ownership!The same shift linkage mounted 3 speed manual backup lamp switch fits: 1967/72 F100/350's / 1973/79 F100/150's / 1969/74 Econolines and 1967/77 Bronco's.

Thanks for the confirmation. After looking some more, I have everything hooked up and working! Just wanted to make sure that there in fact was no safety switch. The back-up light switch was disconnected at the linkage! I have no idea why! It only took me a year to realize there was an issue 
!
