two leaks under truck

I have two leaks underneath my truck 1 is a brake fluid leak and 2 is an oil leak. They are both fairly bad the oil leak is from the bottom near the oil pan not sure what it actually is.

The brake fluid leak comes from the front of the cab on the bottom, could it be the proportioning valve?

Anybody have similar experiences?

thanks

I dont know about the brakes. But for the oil check the oil cooler shell. An inspection mirror really helps. Mine has an LED light on the end. Works awesome and was only like $6

We'd need a MUCH better description of where the leaks are actually coming from for any of us to be any help. Oil / fuel leaking down the engine from the return lines is very common. Oil pan leaks are NOT common. Oil cooler leaks are common. Valve cover gasket leaks are uncommon, but happen.

Brakes could be proportioning valve, master cylinder, lines, etc. Clean off your engine bay and follow the leaks up to their sources.

My valve covers and oil pan leak on the 79 and 92... but thats all that leaks.

If the brake fluid is running down the front of the cab its either the MC or the lines are leaking. Perportioning valve is on the frame rail.

Thanks for the help I'll have co clean it and trace the oil up. And as far as I know the brake fluid is not running down the cab but it is just under the truck near the cab but also close to the perportioning valve.

my rear main and drain plug drip a little, valve covers can leak as well, grab some degreaser and a hose and figure out where exactly.
