Automatic transmission problem
99 F150 4.6 2wd 135000 mi.
I noticed today when you shift from rev. to dr. there is a slight delay before it engages, not necessarily a slip it just takes a moment to go into gear, also when you accellerate and it downshifts there is also a delay before the shift, do I have a potential trans problem or maybe a computer problem.
I don't drive the truck much it is my sons and I found this out today when test driving it after putting in new plugs & wires. I am not a mechanic and boy was that an experience took me 4 hrs and a bunch of frustration.
