I went to LKQ (Junkyard) in Kalamazoo MI, There were like 5 there. I grabbed one and was charged like 5 bucks. I was temped to grab more, but I haven't even done anything with the one I grabbed yet.
I have gone down that route too....the air intake tube is no longer made. I tried 5 NOS/Discontinued parts suppliers as well as local dealers with no luck.
I finally scored one from a member on a Ford Bronco site. I installed it an hour ago.
If anyone knows of anyone that has one PLEASE let me know. I'm having my doubts of finding one around here.
Could try checking Craigslist in your area. Look for someone parting out a fuelie F series that has the 7.5 or 4.9.
The part number for this 7.5 tube is F3TZ-9A675-B. I would suggest giving this part number when calling dealerships-they can find it quicker . It has been discontinued-but the dealer may have it on the shelf-especially if they do body work.
I would also suggest going to www.partsvoice.com and register and send out a request to all of the member dealerships. This website is used by dealers to locate dealer stock . And private individuals can use this same dealer database for parts location.
There are New Old Stock companies that specialize in discontinued OEM new parts for Fords. One of these is www.greensalescompany.com
Thats it, part number 4 is what you want. They are all the same in the 87-96 body style with the EFI 300/460. The only difference may be some have a metal bracket that screws to the core support while the newer ones have plastic tabs. My friend got one for his 1990 F-250(351) last year, I told him to get a tube for a 1995 F-250 with a 460.
I wish you luck getting an air inlet tube. As I stated before I tried numerous places, both online/local/dealer, and came up short each time. If there is a supplier out there, let the rest of the F-series crowd know.

phoneman91 it let's me add it to the cart. Tell me whether 4.9 or 7.5 to order and once the parents get back with a credit card I'll order it.

Been there, done that many times when I tried ordering the tube. I have paid for air tubes about 6 times only to find out 3 hours to 2 weeks later the part was not available.
