My truck, a 93 f150 4x4, doesn't have a front sway bar and I don't have access to one that does have one. I am buying a sway bar and spring seats online and I just needed a few pictures of the set-up. The one I am buying has a cross member that the bar is bolted to and the cross member bolts to the frame. Thanks guys.
There should be a steering linkage skid plate that is just below the bumper, and the sway bar mounts to the back side of it.
I dont have any pic's because my truck doesnt have a sway bar, but it does have the skid plate it mounts too, as do all the crumple zone(dont know the years) trucks. I just remember seeing the sway bar mounted to it on some other trucks.
My '89 has a factory front sway bar. I just pulledit outand replaced the bushings. I am not going to take my camera under the frontof my truck. It is too crowded and dirty there. I don't want to risk my camera or any of my lenses.
I will post the line drawing from the Ford factory service manual, if that is ok by you. Actually I think it would be better.
