(Julie) Just wondering... is there a problem in changing from 6v positive, to 6v negative ground? I know a little about electricity, and don't know what would be impacted if I switched ground polarity.????
Any thoughts?
There isn't any reason you can't I guess, but like ..forever asked, if nothing would be impacted, why would you want to do it?
I would think you would have to flip flop the wire running through the ammeter, and maybe the wires on the coil. Maybe demagnetize and repolarize your generator field?
Most postwar tube radios are not polarity sensative BTW.
No radio.... (woulda thought it would have come with the "Deluxe" cab... LOL)
Don't know... just asking.. just thinking. Don't fully understand the difference between positive and negative ground... Just used to everything running to ground, not to "hot"...???
Again, just sitting around wondering.
Julie, yeah, I thought of the ammeter, generator, and regulator, would have to look at the coil...

Steve there in is the problem. Quit sitting around wondering and get to work on the truck . I had mine out both days this weekend riding around. It was a distributor you were looking for right? Talk to you later
Donald, sure go ahead, rub it in... DRIVING AROUND....
I was looking for a distributor hold down, and a fellow FTEr sent me one, thanks.
Still waiting on my engine. Stopped by yesterday,,,,,
Gonna color paint this spring... Lord willing.
PM me when you get ready to paint. I can run you over to Richard's and he can give you some F100 painting pointers if you want. Pic from Natchez Trace yesterday
