I've been thinking about buying headers for my 85 f150, 300 I6. Can you get a descent sound out of an I6? I'm just afraid I'll get a loud annoying sound. Please let me know of any advice or opinions you may have on an exhaust system for my I6, thanks.

anyone? I've got stock exhause now, was thinking of getting headers and running duals, not sure if I mentioned it in my first post but it's a 85 f150 w/ a 300 i6. I don't know much about this stuff, could anyone give me some pointers? What size do I want, 2 1/2? Mufflers? Tips? thanks

You could go and get an exhaust manifold from a mid 90s 300. I believe it was split. You could then run duals. That would be pretty cool.
