Went tot start up the 3.0 95 aerostar didnt turn over just did a "Click" at the solenoid switch on a cold engine Finally got it to start and it started 50+ times without a problem today, What needs to be changed??
Turned out to be the connection at the starter motor. Thanks!
Well done , you probably saved yourself a few hundred right there!
I was just reading on a Mustang Forum the same deal. Someone had a similar starter problem , took to a garage, got charged for $200..... Which did not fix the problem. Turned out to be a corroded cable wire connection at the battery terminal! When I bought my Aero (1999) it also had an intermittent starting problem. I eventually traced it to the bolt connection at the starter relay, which was loose. Never forget to look for the obvious first.
