Where do they hide the jack?

I just bought a '03 F-150 XL 2wd standard cab long box today.

I havn't been able to find the jack, I found the crank clipped to the top of the radiator support and found the spare tire key in the glove box, didn't get the owners manual with the truck.
Where do they hide the jack on this thing?

Thanks for your help.

should be a wing nut under the passenger seat. undo that and pull out the plastic box. there should be a jack and a tire tool.

glad to help. sometimes it can be tricky finding stuff on the new vehicle. if you havent yet, try to remove your spare. its better to know now if you can get it out or not. this may keep you from getting stranded one day.

Be sure to spray some WD-40 or PB Blaster in the hole. That really slickens things up!

if you are talking about the hole you stick the crank in be carefull. mine is so loose that friction is the only thing that turns the winch. the tool doesnt lock in anymore. if i used wd40 id never get my tire down! lol

Don't overcrank on that tire winch. It'll bust those gears inside. My tire came down, and $100 bucks later, it went back up...........
