Sheet metal question

What guage metal is the stock floor pans? Mine are so far gone I cant tell.

I believe that it is 16 gage. I didnt use a micromiter to check for sure but i have another gage i used to check. I used 16 to fix my flroors, I have heard of guys using 18 for floors but you would need to put in a bead for strenth

Stock floor pans are 19 gauge. As is most sheet metal on 61 to 66 trucks. Mikd steel. It is its shaping that provides the strength.

Thanks for the responses. Ill round me up some 18 ga and go with that. That should work well as it is the thickest metal my bead roller will work with.
