Trans cooler lines

How do you remove the lines that go into the bottom of the radiator? I have an 05 F-250 that has seen alot of salt and the line from the radiator to the aux cooler has rusted thru. I removed the plastic clip and the line will spin but will not come out. I tried the fuel line quick connect tool but it won't fit over the flare in the line.

Well, I patched the line that was leaking last winter and now another line is leaking. I found the correct tool finally after looking at eleven different auto parts stores. Problem is the tool is cheap plastic and won't work. These quick connect fittings are horrilble. I have talked to a mechanic friend and he says that most of the time he ends up replacing the radiator. Any ideas on how to get these "quick connects: apart? I guess QUICK is for the people on the assembly line so they don't have to actually turn a wrench, just stick the line the fitting. The salt in this area just eats everything. Already had the trans pan rust out and a couple brake lines. Thanks for your help.
