I was channel surfing last night and came across some stupid "Hot pursuit" show on true tv. During the show the narrator said that the F250 Super Duty was the most stolen vehicle in America. Say What? I previously heard it was the Honda Accord. Huge Difference! Are people stealing Super Duties then doing some heavy work before they're caught now?
That is the most stolen TRUCK. Smugglers running drugs and people from south of the border use em cause they can stand up the their stupid driving across the rough terrain in the desert. The Accord is #1 for cars.

Actually the narrator used the word "vehicle". Neither car, nor truck, but vehcile. I suppose theat enompases everything from riding lawn mowers to golf carts to Segways.
1994 Honda Accord
1995 Honda Civic
1989 Toyota Camry
1997 Ford F150 Series
2004 Dodge Ram Pickup
2000 Dodge Caravan
1996 Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee
1994 Acura Integra
1999 Ford Taurus
2002 Ford Explorer
That and perhaps when the show was originally shot. In the cop's dash video he was definitly chasing an F250, but the narrator refered to the truck as new and it looked to be about a 2006 vintage.
A couple of years back in Houston it was so bad that if you parked a PowerStroke CrewCab anwhere south of I-10, chances were it wouldn't be there when you went back. Coyotes would steal them to drive home and then bring back another load cross-country. I think that's calmed down a little...

Wow! Does that mean all the hundreds of millions of dollars spent down there is actually working to make the border less porus? Nah!
