Engine Braking

Anybody hear about the powerbreaker? It's made by a company called powerhouse diesel in Portland OR. I got one from a mechanic friend of mine. It installs real easy and it really works! it shuts the EBPVALVE. Works well with a manual. There is a dash switch that I guess would make it useful for an automatic. I just wanted Y.all to know about this small company. I don't get anything for this. It's just made in USA and helps extend the life of your brakes

There was a couple threads some time back that talked at length about the back pressure created when it is closed. Most guys have tried the EBPV as an exhaust brake before, but I'm not sure what the general consenses is on it anymore.

If you have a manual it is very easy to wire it up yourself. Automatics are a little more difficult because you have to lock up the TC.
