HELP!! 1994 F250 International Non-Turbo Diesel Just Dumped LOTS of Oil

I have a 1994 F250 with the International non-Turbo diesel engine.

I haven't started it for about a month and I did so today and got an unpleasant surprise.

When I started it, it started dumping oil somewhere from the lower front of the engine somewhere forward of the oil filter (not the oil filter) and below the power steering pump on the driver side of the engine.

I can't see where the oil is coming from but there is a LOT of it.

As you'd expect, the oil pressure gauge is at zero.

Anyone have any ideas as to what might have just happened?

Is there a seal or something in that area that could have let go, or what?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'll try to crawl under it tomorrow and see if I can get into a position where I can see where the oil coming from.

Again, thanks in advance for any of your ideas!!

Pre-Power Stroke Diesel (7.3L IDI & 6.9L) - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums Here is a link to the page for your engine. Probably get more response if you post your problem there.
Good luck.

Good luck.

Thanks Lazy K, I didn't see that forum category. I've re-posted it there.

Cheers!

Thats your oil cooler, the rear head ties into your oil filter The o-rings go out on either head. You will need to drain your oil and coolant to do the job. Its a messy one. Hope you posted whre LK pointed you and you should get some more help. If you need more help than that area provides you can pm me and I can provide mo info.
Good Luck
