Ya they only other things i can think of is the o2 bungs is on the drivers side on a 96, and 95 and older truck is on passenger side. does that sound correct?
The older trucks have a single O2 sensor mounted in the y-pipe, just before the first catalytic converter (none in the exhaust manifolds). The '96 has an O2 sensor mounted the collector of both the left and right exhaust manifolds and one after the cat.
