These are the specs on the 5 speed. I know most of us are going over this. How many of you are running a stock tranny?

5r110 is good up to somewhere around 500hp/1000tq at the wheels. It'll handle more, but will start slipping eventually.

When ford says maximum that just means that's the most power the motor will make coming out of the factory.

325/560 is stock at the flywheel. Any time you look at the specs on any factory car it will say "Maximum blah blah blah" This keeps people from getting pissy that there car/truck doesn't actually make that much power.

The Torqshift behind the 6.4 can actually take a little more then the one behind the 6.0.

Once you start talking about power that is achieved with bigger injectors and turbo then you should start thinking about the tranny. I have 508/721 and it took about a year before it started to go.

While the tranny can take more power with just tuning alone, you have to make sure that there really is good solid tranny tuning with that tuner or else it'll take a dump on you with not much more power over stock. How it's tuned will determine greatly how much extra it can handle.
