02Gray, hopefully you will not be as nervous as I was about drilling into the exhaust manifold just below the turbo uptake pipe. I followed several peoples advice about leaving the bits dry instead of putting grease on them (used the graduated bit method after drilling the pilot hole to keep the shavings small and also not have to push so hard and get shavings on the "wrong side" of the hole). I vacuumed out the hole as best I could after I tapped it. Mine came out fine and good luck to you. -Glenn

I just did this last saturday also. Same procedure, kept the bits dry so the flutes wont clog up and vacuumed it real well to make sure I got all the shavings. I was pretty easy. There was actually enough room in there for my cordless drill which was nice.
