2000 cab and chassis f350 2wd. non dually. can't find it anywhere other numbers above where it says axle is rc44 below is UNC to left is r7 to right is tr6.


Does anyone know what rear and gear are in it???

That's odd. The axle code is missing on your sticker. It should be JUST below AXLE.

The UNC is related to something else. Mine has UTC.

Does there happen to be metal tab attached the dif?

didnt get it home yet the snow is too high at my house. bought it for the cab. can't believe it doesn't have axle code. is there a way to get it off vin?

I wonder if there is a standard gear ratio for cab & chassis with SRW?

I hope some one can chime in here to clear this up. Maybe there's something terribly obvious we're missing with this.

thanks Rick i just did everything you did. maybe that list of axle codes is incomplete because it doesn't say f350 chassis cab single rear wheels.It list's f350 single wheel but it doesn't say chassis cab like with the others.

 

Yup, only a month ago a friend installed a salvaged '03 bed on his '01 stock ordered cab and chassis. He said it went very smooth but I have no idea if there was any brackets or additional parts needed. He said he had access to both vehicles so what ever he needed was on the donor truck.

lol sorry man. the truck is 80 miles from my house! I should've checked when i paid the dude. I'm not whining. I'm having it towed to my house but i have a 300 ft driveway with 3 feet of snow. I wish my driveway looked like the one in the pic. No place to put it right now. if it was here i would have been under it already!!! i took a pic of the tag so i could look up the codes i like these song and dance deals i get. especially when they have good stuff on them.

I'm still hoping someone will stop by here with some "axle" insight. We might be missing something obvious or there is simply a standard gear ratio for your particular chassis.

hey there my canuka friend. well i was at work and a f550 came to make a delivery. Guess what? No axle code on there either. I don't think any cab chassis have axle codes.

 

That's another new "Ford" thing I've learned today. (no axle codes on Cab'N'Chassis pillar stickers)

Seems odd though? There must be some kind of reference on the C&C vehicles that state what axles are in them. I hope the tab on the rear differentials are at least installed on them?
