What Have YOU Done To Your Truck Today?

I am using Jeg's 2.5-inch hot rod exhaust kit and Moroso Spiral Flow mufflers... I don't like glasspacks nor do I like to install oval mufflers on their sides. The intermediate tubes (btwn the header and mufflers) cross over to the passenger side and go over the cross member:

Jeg's Exhaust Kit
Compared to labor costs and muffler shops that are production-oriented, the only way I knew it would be done right is if I did it myself. I spent $350 but that excludes my $30 custom NASCAR exhaust tip. A dual exhaust in my area runs $500 or more.
The only complaint I would have is not with the kit but the packaging. All the pieces come in one big box and a couple of the straight tubes' ends got dented/crimped. A tailpipe expander restored the roundness. Hopefully you live close to Jegs' warehouse cuz they shipped this thing to me in California.

hit the junkyard
r&R 'd the rear tank, still can't figure out the fuel suplly problem. went to the junkyard, found a complete 78 supercab 150xlt, they said 75$ for the front grill, 'we'll see' on the complete trim, 65.00 for the tailgate, was too broke, but the truck had all the emissions complete so i got to iphone picture it all.

I installed a new battery tray on the passengers side to eliminate the rust-bucket box on the drivers side, and the 6' long cable running to the solenoid. Started tearing out the clutch linkages and replacing everything from the clutch rod to the threaded adjuster rod, z-bar, and frame bracket with new bushings. I had to stop early to paint the bracket on the frame and let dry.
I've got new brake lines to install (MC to Prop valve, and F&R flex line).
I still cant get my dang 460 to run right. I've narrowed it down to either timing/electrical or not enough fuel pressure....

starting my rebuild
Today I replaced my front brakes and rotors. I didn't get to install my new calipers though. I am having problems finding the correct pad for the inside side. The part number that autozone pulls up doesn't quit fit in the nuckle. Anyone have any insight. I own a 74 2wd. I also painted my new drums with high temp paint. Don't use the wife's oven unless you ask....it is a good way to get in the dog house!

Gave my truck a plain old fashond tune-up. Replaced plugs (All looked good) cap and rotor. Tweaked the timing and fuel/air mixture. Then I found some issues with the vacuum lines. Over the years they got old and cracked so I replaced ALL the lines and tested. Then I fixed a loose vacuum advance valve on the distributor.
Then I organized all the stuff behind the seat.
It's running so good now that I think I will drive it to work Monday!

Installed new Kenwood 6.5-inch door speakers... sounds great.
Pondered the best method to reinstall the repro door panels cuz the knuckleheaded drilled out the mounting holes to 3/8-inch. I may end up welding on 1/4-inch washers or welding the holes closed and drilling my own 1/4-inch holes for the plastic push rivets... you know the button-headed plugs with the "gills" on the shank. Hmmm.
