HEAT is one reason why we get stuck running lower boost levels. Get rid of the heat and the effeciency goes up along with the capability of running higher boost levels.
A used stroke cooler, some tubing, and a weekend you can have an intercooled idi for a few hundred bucks. Or shell out the big money for a complete kit from a company like Hypermax and eliminate the guess work.
