Add a leaf

Has anyone installed a 1" add a leaf to the rear of a F 250 SC SB? And if so did it give you a true one inch lift?

I put a 2.5" up front and a 3" out back on my 01 both were dead on.

Just replace the f250 rear blocks with f350 ones. It will give you about 1.25" of lift and will be a whole lot cheaper.

My last few trucks, I've put in an add-a-leaf. Not for the height, but because before I added the additional leaves, I tended to crack a leaf or two within a few years of using the truck. But I occasionally tow a very, very heavy trailer, so I figure the side sway pressure might have been doing it. Since I began adding a leaf about 15 years ago, I haven't cracked a single one.
It's an easy job, if the truck is pretty new, before the crud sets into the bolts.
And I've never measured, but it does add an inch or two to the height. I only add them to the rear. I've had F-250 SCs for a while now, I guess I could go to the 350, but, well, this is easy.
