aod transmission question
I was wondering what will happen if i add gear oil instead of automatic transmission fluid because i went to pick my car up at the tranny shop and asked him about my truck and they said after about ten minutes the tranny fluid heats up causing it not to move because no pressure and need a rebuild would adding gear oil to the tranny help by keeping the fluid thick just need it for a month and then will rebuild it or is there something else i could do.Thanks for reading all this.
