emission control system light or sevice engine
Can anyone help ford 6.0 2003
I just had a new ficm,egr valve, and vehicle reflashed drove the truck for about 2 months or 2,000 miles at the most and this light comes on emisssion control system, serive engine. I checked gas cap and I even took battery cable off to reset if possible. I also just changed oil and filters and air filter about 200 miles.The truck runs fine but sometimes when I crank it up it will smoke a little but clears up and runs great. A mechanic at the ford dealer told me to drive it like I stole it to keep it blowed out is this good or bad any help will be appreciated. John In Jax,fl
