alcohol-injection: Opinions?
Just wondering if this would be a worthwhile mod to help keep EGT's in check
while towing? Those steep grades 6 degrees or so, cause temps to rise fast & speed to slow. Anyone ever us this or have info as to weather it would be a good or bad idea? Looks like an easy install and the price isn't bad either.

I'm also looking for a system to keep EGTs safe on slow, steep, usually winding climbs.
What I've found is that most of the systems inject based on boost only, not EGTs. So if EGTs are rising but you're not generating much if any boost, you don't get injection. It's also difficult figuring out how the controllers work from the poor documentation presented.
I got a repy from Snow Performance on their "tow mode" using EGTs, but their tech rep said it's a fixed injection map requiring about 4 to 6 PSI plus high EGTs before injecting... so not much use.
The Devil's Own Stage 2 stongly implies boost-only mapping; the more expensive Stage 2 EGT seems to be the same.
AIS seems promising, but I haven't pinned down the controller logic; need to contact their tech department.
